Line/Copy Editing​

Line editing focuses on correcting technical and logistical issues in your manuscript. This includes grammar, punctuation, readability, tone consistency, light fact-checking, and addressing anomalies or inconsistencies in the prose. Line and copy editing ensure the language aligns with your intent and results in the clearest, most engaging version of your book.
Rate: $0.015 per word

Proofreading

Proofreading is the final stage of the editing process. It provides a last check to ensure your book is free of spelling and punctuation mistakes, grammatical errors, and other small issues that could disrupt a reader’s enjoyment—from missing commas to misused homophones.
Rate: $0.010 per word

Discounted Bundle ​

If you believe your book would benefit from both services, I offer a discounted bundle that includes a full line edit followed by a final proofread. Should you make revisions based on the line edit suggestions, I’m happy to review a reasonable amount of new or updated text as part of the bundle.

​Book Formatting

Once your manuscript is in its final form, I will use Atticus to format it into EPUB and PDF files ready for upload. I can incorporate purchased artwork, chapter headers, and other stylistic elements as desired. I’m happy to discuss your vision for the final product to ensure the formatting aligns with your goals.
