Line/Copy Editing​

Editing to address technical and logistical errors – focused on the prose rather than story elements. Includes grammatical or punctuation errors, light fact-checking, anomalies, tone consistency, readability, and correcting inconsistencies and typos. Line/copy editing ensures that the language supports your intent while creating the most readable version of the book.

Proofreading

Proofreading is the final stage of the editing process, offering a last check to ensure your book is free from spelling and punctuation mistakes, grammatical errors, and other issues that could spoil a reader’s enjoyment of your writing, from missing commas to misused homophones.

Discounted Bundle ​

If you feel your book can benefit from all of the above, I offer a discounted bundle rate that includes both types of editing. It will begin with a line edit, followed by a final proofread. If any re-writing occurs on the author’s part in connection with the line edit, I will be happy to review a reasonable amount of new text as part of the bundle.
